Its a bit of a local thing
When I first moved here, they were a "sit down and order place", and then they put in a buffet. Its not fancy, the desserts are the standard pudding, almond cookies, cantaloupe, and ice cream bars in a freezer. But for $8 for dinner and $6 for lunch, you get all you can eat of the buffet, which includes crispy and delicious crab rangoon, crunchy and savory Vietnamese egg rolls, chow mein, stir fried green beans, and spring rolls. the only thing I wish they had was a bigger selection of sauces. But if you want to stop in, eat some good and simple Asian food, this is the place. Btw, parking is awful, so go for off hours.
