Such poor treatment by management and owner cannot balance out the quality of the food.....
Billy and Daniel are ungrateful, self serving, arrogant, greedy people who offer poor service. The food is flavorful. The atmosphere is nice. Too bad the management and owner are so careless about the customer experience.

They market themselves like crazy. But when people come in as a result of their marketing they are treated to a terrible experience.

Shige is better. Pho Tam is better. Chiang Mai is better. Because all of these treat customers with appreciation and gratitude!!!!

I'm a walking billboard for Mai Thai
I LOVE this place! I go there 2 or 3 times a month at least. The food is fantastic, the service is outstanding, the ambiance is very cool and chic, and they have the best happy hour (two for 1 on anything, and the drinks are like works of art! AND they have a late happy hour as well!). You may not get as much food as you do in a rinky-dink thai restaraunt, but the quality is far superior. If youre a vegatarian, you will also love their extensive vegetarian menu (I'm not, but I have had a lot of it, and it's all been very tasty!!). YOu won't be disappointed (downtown location...never went to the other location).smilies/grin.gifsmilies/grin.gifsmilies/grin.gifsmilies/grin.gifsmilies/grin.gifsmilies/grin.gif

Got sick. One rude fellow.
We have tried this place several times on take out and have been disappointed everytime.

First time, my daughter was over charged $10 by the guy who acts like he is in charge but isn't. We had to insist on speaking to the manager because he could not have been wrong.

The second time - same guy -made an issue of thier minimum delivery order. I was like 50 cents from the minimum. Order was then wrong. They replaced it but with bad food. It smelled funny and I should have known better but was starving by then. I ended up sick in the bathroom all night.

I never called again and won't go back.

not good!! over priced for the small portions you get. the pad thai was one of the worst i've ever had. wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone either. they didn't offer us a kids menu so i am going to guess that they don't have one....our kids didn't like it and they usually love thai food.

smilies/grin.gif We have been 2x and no complaints. We can't wait to go back. We always order extra so we have left overs for the next day -- its that good -- We have only been to the Boise one. I have heard only Bad things from that one.

love it
Whenever it is my turn to pick our dinner location, try as I might, Mai Thai is the only name that comes to mind. I adore every dish I have ever tried there. While they may be on the expensive end of Thai food in Boise, I would not go anywhere else.

So not authentic. Ordered two seperate dishes and both came with same vegetables. Scallops were soggy and had no flavor. Flies were everywhaere. Serves sucked. asked for darki beer waiter told us his recommendation, beer was light beer. We ate at the Eagle place and will never go back.

good but overrated!
good but overrated and too expensive! what you are paying for is not the food but the atmosphere and the locations! they are good but you can get better Thai food in town and for a lot cheaper! I recommend the Eagle location because they have the sushi there too and you dont have the hassle of going downtown and paying for parking!

Disappointed (Eagle Restaurant)
Disappointed, ate at the restaurant in Eagle. Not authentic Thai (California Yuppie Thai) Ordered a shrimp dish received 2 shrimp. When I brought up my concern, the waiter returned and said,? That is the way it is" Not what I would call a customer centered attitude. Will not be back...smilies/sad.gif
