Rocks in my food..
ROCKS?? REALLY? I used to go here all the time until last week when i bit into my taco and cracked my tooth on a rock. I called the restaurant and they were not nice to me at all. I cant believe that when someone calls with a problem that they would not at least say sorry. The owner was not in the restaurant so i asked for her number so I could get her insurance information and the manager would not give it to me, then the owner called me from a blocked number spouted off her insurance information and hung up. I will never go back here ever again

I grew up in Southern Arizona, literally 5 miles from the border, and Los Betos is the closest thing to home, when it comes to Mexican food, sure they aren't a nicer sit down place but the food is amazing!!!! Friends from Arizona come to visit and we always take them there for our carne asada or chorizo and egg burrito fix! It is great! and to the person that says they are going under...... Are you insane?!!!? I've never been in one that didn't have people in it and i have eaten at all of them in the area!

Great Food at a Great Price!
I've had there food 6 or 7 times now and it's always been too good to be true. My food has never been to greasy, and it taste way better than most of the sit down restaurants here in the Boise area. I even tried there fish taco and shrimp burrito and was impressed with its fresh taste! You can't beat the price... makes me want to pinch myself every time I go in. The pople have always been real nice as well. And the salsa bar is AWESOME! If you havn't had there food at least give it a try!

addicted to your food
My name is John "Pinto Bean" Drew. I have recently relocated to the Boise area from San Diego. "Pinto Bean" is a new nickname given to me from my golf buddies here in Idaho. They gave me the nickname because they know how much I like your food. You saved me from having to dine on the "cafeteria stlye" mexican food that existed until I found your establishments. I currently eat your authentic dishes in a rotating system amongst three local locations. I average around six meals a week.

The reason I am writing you is I am interested in purchasing two fitted LOS BETOS hats. The same hats that your employees are wearing. A red one and a black one. The new nickname has stuck and I would like to wear them to my Men's Club Golf Tournaments. Please contact me via e-mail. I am serious you've saved my tastebuds!

On my way for lunch!

My Los Betos experience
I have eaten at both Nampa locations and they were quite good. The quality was not great but was far more on the good end than bad and the value was really good. I have not had a bad order from there yet.

Gotta know what to order
Los Betos is, by far, the best "real people" Mexican food around. THANK GOD FOR LOS BETOS. But, in respect to some of the negative comments here, I almost always order the Carne Asada burrito, quesadillas, or the rolled tacos w/ guacamole. YUM. Best "fast food" in the world. If you've tried the other item on the menus and did not care for them, try these -- they ROCK.

I feel bad for this place, cuz its going under for sure.

Pros: Huge portions, 24hrs (but so is Del Taco in the same parking lot)
Cons: Food is nasty, atmosphere was terrible, kids screaming from the kitchen area, long black hair in my daughter food

Eat again? Not a chance when there are 6 mexican(ish) restraunts located with a 1-2 miles of this place

Not worth the price. If I'm paying nine dollars for Mexican food I'd rather spend it at Chapalas or Fiesta Guadalajara. If you want Mexican food similar to Los Betos at a better price hit up the taco truck on Chinden in Garden City.

Sorry, Las Betos is just plain nasty. It's designed to appeal to a certain audience - and that is ok, but once was enough for me.

Not recommended.
I ordered a takeout chili verde burrito once. It was cheap, it was big, it was greasy, and it was the worst tasting and toughest chili verde I've ever had. I was hungry, but threw it away with 1/2 of it left. I agree with Susan.
