Great Atmo, great food, great people! I really love Romio's! It's like coming home... so warm and comfortable. Casual, but nice. Great menu variety! Wonderul alfredo sauce -- the tortellini is my favorite pasta, but their pizzas can't be beat, either. We love the G.A.S.P. with the garlic crust. MMM! I think I will go there for my birthday! |

Yummy! I love Romios! Have been there many times and have never been disappointed. Have had sandwiches, appetizers, pasta and pizza there. I always tell myself I'm going to try something different, but I always end up with the same ol' stand-by: THE CALZONES!!! These are not only SUPER delicious, but a great bargain! They're HUGE, and it's not difficult to get two meals out of them! I have an out-of-state friend coming to visit and Romio's definitely tops the list of places to take her! |

Fantastic service Went to Romio's 11/16 for my second time. We had beverages, appetizer, gyros sandwich and gyros salad. Prices were reasonable, food was quite good, but service was EXCELLENT. Our server's name was Isiah and he was attentive without being overbearing. He had a strong attention to detail, was friendly and professional. |

First try not bad I went to Romio's for the first time last night (11/11/0 because I discovered from this forum that they serve Greek food, which is one of my favorite ethnic cuisines. BF had the gyros (tasty, but way too many onions) and I had the pastichio (Greek lasagna) which good flavor wise, but wasn't warm enough and also was drowned in the tomato sauce. Next time I will order without the tomato sauce which overpowers the delicate flavors of the bechamel sauce and spices of the pastichio. I will give them another try when I am out in the mall area (which isn't too often). |

Sadly my first experience was a bad experience....won't go back Well the food was good, but to have 3 people for lunch with 1 ordering off the childrens menu, and getting a bill for over $40, is truly insane to me. We had one $5 appetizer, 1 personal pizza and 1 entree w/lunch salad. Paying over $2.50 ($2.85 I think) for an iced tea is beyond ridiculous. Then I asked my waitress for 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese on my personal pizza and she said they can't do 1/2's on personal pizzas. I said, "Can't or won't?" Again she said they can't. They CAN'T put a couple pepperonis on 1/2 a pizza...WHAT?? NO real business with an ounce of customer service says CAN'T to a customers request unless it is truly beyond their ability. Well we won't be back. That is my rant!! |

Romio's I had to do some final Christmas shopping near the mall, and I had been wanting to try Romio's since June when they provided most of the food for the Greek Food Festival at the Greek Orthodox Church. Since Dad had given me my Christmas money early, I thought I needed to treat myself to a nice lunch before tackling the crowds at Sport's Authority and Barnes and Noble. Romio's is located near the Boise Towne Square Mall and Target, and on the Monday before Christmas, the place was booming with shoppers and people on their lunch breaks. I was greeted warmly by one of the waitresses, and she asked if I wanted to sit at the bar since I was alone. I said that was fine since I could read the newspaper and watch CNN on the TV there. Another waitress gave me a menu and got me the diet Coke that I had ordered quickly. I didn't want something heavy in my tummy while shopping, so I settled for a vegetarian gyro ($5.95) and a Greek salad ($5.95). My salad arrived first and was big enough for two people and was chock full of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, kalmata olives, feta cheese, and a yummy Greek dressing. Halfway through the salad, the nice owner, brought my gyro, which was a huge pita bread stuffed with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and feta cheese. Both dishes also had my favorite peppercinis, and my soda was refilled once it was empty. Yep! I still had room for dessert after all of that good food, and I ordered a Baklava. It arrived quickly, and WHOA! It was the biggest Baklava portion I ever had, and it was great, not too goopy with syrup and not needing a chainsaw like other baklavas I have eaten in the past. My check came to just over $18, and I left a decent tip for the waitress before leaving. Romio's is a great place to eat before shopping at the stores on Milwaukee Avenue, and they also have food to go or for delivery. The interior is decorated with Greek artifacts and the hospitality is as warm as the yellow painted walls. I hope to return when I am near the mall again. |

This place is Great! I come from a Greek family and the food here is actually authentic. I think the selection is great, it is just like the food you get in Greece. The other restaurants in Boise that claim to have Greek food don't even compare. If you like Greek cuisine you will not be disappointed. |

I love Romio's Ok I'm 100% italian from Chicago & grew up next to greek town (my big fat Greek Wedding)-so getting some good ole home food at Romio's is like being in heaven. I havent had many items from the Italian side since no one will ever compare to my mom's sauce aka-Gravy, but the greek menu is awesome. I keep asking for the owner to add greek flaming cheese -1ce done nothing in town can compare!! I brought a chicago relative there for dinner she had chicken parm-thought I could feed the neighborhood for the amount of food she got. Keep up the good job Romio's |
