... ate there a couple of times only for convenience...I'm of greek heritage and highly disappointed. Their gyros had meat that you could tell was the pre-packaged, cooked, sliced gyros meat like what you can buy from WINCO foods stores to make gyros at home. The spanikopita was tasty..but again, you can tell the food is the pre-made and prepackaged stuff some restaurants get from culinary suppliers, with some minor touches added by staff cooks. They have a limited menu, when I asked about Greek dish staples like Pasticho, Moussaka, lemon chicken and potatoes, Avgolemono, they had no clue what I was talking about and I had to explain to them what each was and gave a lot of lame excuses like we're just starting out so we're keeping the menu simple...sorry...Sofia's Greek Bistro in Boise is by far better, Litsa the owner makes the dishes on the menu herself, & sorry Parthenon, there is a large Greek community here, you need to cater to the public. |

Disappointed :( My family went to the restaurant about 1:30 pm. The decor is very nice and gives the appearance of a fine dining establishment. Our server was very nice, but we became disappointed as we learned they were out of their two main appetizers. So skipping appetizers, our party of 4 ordered the lamb kebabs, a gyro, salad and greek fries. The greek fries were very good, but that was it. The lamb had quite a few grisly pieces & was marinated in soy sauce. The salad had slimy pieces in it and the gyro which was also lamb, was grisly and covered w/ lettuce. Our biggest disappointment was my mom could not eat the lamb kebabs she ordered as she has a wheat allergy. The menu did not say soy marinade, which is not traditional greek. The manager & server would not fix it, and just told her next time to order something wheat free! Having wasted $60 plus tip for 4 people lunch, there will not be a next time. |

A GREAT PLACE TO GO My family enjoyed the experience. The prices were affordable, considering the appearance of fine dinning settings. We thought we would have to pay more than what we did. The food was great, and it was a nice touch when the owners came out to ask how we enjoyed everything. The service was great, everyone was so nice, and we didnt have to wait forever for our food. We will be going back again and again, just to try everything they have. |

Not Authentic...Way Over Priced..Not worth it Nice restaraunt but the food is way over priced and small portions. It's not authentic the sauces didnt taste right if you want authentic go to boise dont wast your money in nampa, cheap imitation. |

YUMMY! This place is YUMMY!!! I have been there twice now and I will be going back (next time with friends). The hummus is EXCELLENT!!! And so is everything else I've tried. I especially like the greek fries and pasta salad. So fresh and different. I would highly recommend this place. Reasonable prices, great staff, great location and great food. What more do you need?!?!?!??? |

Great food! Good staff! The menu has many delicious choices that deciding on what to eat is a debate! The staff is very knowledgeable of every item on the menu and happily answered all our questions. The Lamb skewers are to DIE FOR!!! The baklava is so delicious that you want to hug a nice greek Grandma! We will definitely be repeat customers! |

Go Greek no Toga required !! I've been here a couple of times since their open, I have tried the Parthenon Gyro and Greek fries. Hot fresh with great balanced flavors. The Lamb special they had tonight was tender and cooked to a NICE medium. Sadly one commenter can't do better than throwing a McDonald's comparison, sounds more like Ashley didn't get her free food as she would by complaining. The Belly dancers were a great hit, very nice touch. |

A different experience Reading the previous reviewer's experience you would thing we dined a different restaurant. We had such a pleasant experience. We food tasted great the service was attentive without being too over bearing. My friend tammy tried the Lamp and had no complaints. They are new so sometimes service may be hit or miss. Will go back... |

Horrible food...bad service.....will never eat there again Ordered the lamb and it tasted spoiled. The chef came put and tried to tell me it was the honey dijon I was tasting. They gave us two free appetizer coupons and and a whopping 10% off our bill which was a $2.69 discount! Not impressed. I felt like if I ate the lamb I would have gotten sick. I would rather have eaten 3 day old McDonalds than that lamb. |

Great addition to Nampa Tried this place just on a whim and let me tell you, it was well worth it. Not to mention that Nampa saws due for a Greek restaurant. |

Paralegal The food is awesome! Tables were set with linens, giving it the appearance of fine dining, yet the atmosphere is for casual dining. The shrimp pasta was AMAZING! The prices are not too expensive, and they offer a great variety. The service is prompt and friendly. Will eat there again and again. It's nice to have a Greek restaurant in Nampa. |
