What a gem! I discovered this quaint little restaurant around October of 2010. Since that time this place has really come a long way. They have a very talented head chef (Nick Duncan) that has started on full time at the begining of this year and everything he has put on the menu has been to die for. Their dinner menu changes every two months so they an mix things up a bit and keep things seasonal. They have revamped their lunch and brunch menu as well. I love the BLT they put on the lunch menu, they smoke and cure their own bacon! The porch & outdoor seating this time of year is so nice. I would highly recommend trying this place out or trying it again if you haven't been in a while, a lot has changed for the better! |

better for lunch Been to LaBelle Vie 4-5 times for lunch and twice for dinner. Lunch is pretty good... nice selection of sandwiches and salads. they have a daily soup thats been excellent each time. they really should dump the dinner menu and start over. or just consider being aa lunch establishment. the place is very small which is fine, quaint even for lunch. romantic when the sun is setting. but this size limits their menu. You cant prepare that much of a variety of entrees if you only have seating for 10 tables They have like 5 main dishes, a steak which honestly was a little fatty and bland. a cornish hen, lamb medallions, and a veggie dish (i think one more). otherwise they also have their same lunch menu added on, same sandwiches and salads. its not that its terrible but there are at least two better places to eat for dinner around the corner from them. |
