Never had a problem The Boise location stinks, and one of the first times I was there they refused to use my Military ID as proper identification.. But I've never had significant problems with the food. The Meridian location is much better. |

Lacking management Good microbrews made on location, a decent menu, and a spacious atmosphere with TVs everywhere should make this an awesome place. However, the food and service are consistently terrible. I used to eat here twice a week when my brother worked here. Maybe that's why I was taken care of those times. I went back 5 other times and sent food back 3 times in row. The 2 other times still had problems, but since it was a business thing where I wasn't paying I was a bit more tolerant. Go to the Meridian location if you want to try The Ram. |

Ram Restaurant and Brewery My friend Linda and I were walking on the Boise Greenbelt that goes through downtown Boise, Idaho, and we were starving after the walk. So, we decided to stop and eat at this little mini mall of mostly restaurants. Linda and I wanted to go to the Stone Church, a restaurant that used to be a church Linda used to attend, but it didn't open until 4pm, and it was about 2:30, and we were starving. So, the Ram was our second choice. It was nice and warm outside, so Linda and I decided to eat al fresco. When my Nana had her mastectomy in 1998, my dad, uncle, and I came to the Ram to eat after her operation, and that experience was better than the second time I went with Linda. It was December, so we ate inside and watched sports on TV, which is something we do when we have dinner at home. Our waitress took a while to get to our table so we could order. Linda had a foccaccia sandwich with chicken and artichoke butter. I had the deep fried fish and chips with shrimp and a ceasar salad. The salad was mostly lettuce, and Linda shared it with me. Linda's sandwich was mostly bread, and she couldn't eat it all. My seafood and chips were hot and fresh and were good. I had to ask for more tartar sauce for my fish and fries which took a while again for our waitress to get. Linda and I decided to split a dessert otherwise, we would have had to be forklifted out of our seats. We shared a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting that topped off our meal nicely. Our waitress was slow and only came to our table once to refill our drinks and see if we were okay. We got nicer service from the good-looking bus boy when we asked for some to go cups for our waters. The Ram is located across the street from Boise State University. You can eat outside in good weather or inside and watch one of many TVs with sporting events on them. I am only giving this place a Recommendation because of the poor service, but the food is good and the atmosphere is rowdy and fun. Poor service is a pet peeve of mine. The Ram is something to like if you are sports fan like I am. |

Is there a Buffalo Wild Wings in Town? This place isn't bad. Very expensive! I wish we had a Buffalo Wild Wings in town as they have over 40 T.V.'s and the best wings in the world! Buffalo Wild Wings prices are much more affordable. |
