Brisket is Excellent, but forget the sides
We went to the Road House on a whim. Im very happy we did and the brisket is vey good. But...forget about sides. I checked them over and had the beans. You have to be kidding me! They taste like Ranch Style beans right out of the can. At the very least, they could try dressing them up with some bar-b-q sauce. Loved the Brisket and would go back for that. But I will get it to go...

Comon guys! Canned Beans. Forget about it

Road House serves authentic, tender, down-home barbecue with enough sides to please anybody! I've eaten in the restaurant and also used them for catering events and have been more than impressed each time; they deliver excellent food, outstanding service, and a wonderful attitude with great prices. Far, far better than d**key's, Goodwood, Famous Dave's or ANY of the chain barbecue houses (and don't get me wrong, I like that food too)!

This is the way they do it in Texas, except Roadhouse uses applewood, which gives a sweeter and softer smoke flavor than hickory or oak. The brisket is fantastic, and is tender and juicy, in spite of the thick slices. The ribs, pulled pork, and sausage are also excellent. Everything comes with sauce on the side, so you can have it dry or wet, however you like it. There are many sides to pick from, including standard coleslaw and potato salad, as well as black eyed peas, baked beans and more. Give this a try and it will be one of your favorite BBQ restaurants.
