Business Owner Great Chicken tortilla Soup, very tasty, and delivers a light meal that is filling. It is also priced perfectly. |

ok, but inattentive to allergies Hi ok food, but the big one here is twice I've mentioned no egg on the green salad and they brought it out with egg, then picked it off and tried to re-present - server seemed to think it was no big deal. Explained to her allergies and it seeme to go over her head.....second time out there our server seemed to also not understand - rest of food was good, but still tough to get through that part each time there |

Excellent food I have been there many times. The food is always great. There prime rib Sandwich is GREAT. I do think that they play there music a little to loud. It is hard to visit. Meridian is our favorite. |

Too Thirsty After Holy crap!, way way too salty on the brisket and the ribs. Had to pull over and get a bottled beverage on the way home. Beans, salty. Chicken, salty. Nothing to write home about for the food, much better BBQ at Famous Dave's or my new favorite Sweetwaters Tropic Zone. |

Great food and service Eaten at the Meridian location many times, good food at reasonable prices. All of our "out of towner" friends love it. Very consistant. |

Great value Goodwood BBQ delivers great value. For around $6 I got an open-faced burnt ends sandwich on thick slabs of bread with a side of steak fries (those are thick cut fries) for lunch. The meat was juicy and smokey - perfect. This is my fourth visit to Goodwood. I've had the ribs, the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket. All have been consistently delicious. I can't recommend this place enough... and that's just the food. The service is unparalleled for the price you pay. My drink has never gone gone below half full, the wait staff is knowledgeable, they're not pushy, and they always open the doors for you and say thank you. If you need anything extra they don't act bothered, they just get what you need. I've been to much more expensive restaurants that didn't provide that kind of service. |

Potato Salad This side dish at GW should be patented. A buddy insisted I order it as a side. I could care less about potato salad, but being a visitor to Idaho and not wishing to offend him, I tried it. WOW. GW takes a mundane side dish and makes it excellent. I'd pay top dollar to have the recipe. |

... I have eaten here 3-4 times and the food is always good. But it is also very noisy. Downright loud at times. Can't carry on a decent conversation. So if you are going just for the food and you plan to keep your head buried in your plate, this place is screamin' your name. If you like to have a pleasant conversation over dinner, go somewhere else. |

Quality food in a comfortable atmosphere I enjoy the brisket and the pulled pork. The Spicy barbeque sauce is very good. The baby back ribs are spotty...I wish they wouldn't serve the tough, short bone end of the rack. Their slaw is the best. |

Excellent ribs The beef ribs are great, as are the salads, brisket and chicken. This is our first choice for Barbecue in Boise, and it's locally owned! |

okay but overpriced Being from Kansas City, I have high standards when it comes to BBQ. This Northwestern place was okay. Not great, but okay. It's unfortunate that the food is priced as if it were great. |

... I thought is was very good. I grew up in some of the best cattle country in the U.S., in western Iowa, and my one point for a good steak is that I'm tired of hearing about grass-fed Angus when corn-fed Hereford is a much better cut because of the marbling, which means flavor. |

gone down hill Ribs are just OK. Jakers right down the road has better ribs. The service is still pretty good at Goodwood, but you feel rushed. The drink, wine, beer prices are very high. |
