LEGIT
Westside is the place to be. It is neighborhood-style friendly eating. Just strike up a conversation with any of the workers and they'll point you in the right direction in regards to your choice of eats!
My buddies and I are always down there and we always just ask for an opinion and order. We are never dissatisfied. Its a drive in style, so you'll sit outside and be with other people.. Which is awesome, welcomed and needed in our society. What a gem in our city, it even brought the Food Network in! Go try it out.

We always hit the West Side on the way back to the house on Sundays after floating the river... the kids love it!

Saw it on food network
Went to the west side drive-in after seeing it on food network. It was awesome! Drove by it before and thought it was a dive. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed it very much! Will make it a regular stop when in the area.

Great Drive-In
Last weekend was my first trip to Westside. I got the finger steaks and my wife got the Cajun burger. We shared a root beer spin. Even though the place was busy our food was out in about 5 minutes - not bad. The fresh battered finger steaks came on top of a heaping pile of tater tots (you can get fries as well) with Texas toast and a few dipping sauces. For $9 it could have fed both of us. The Cajun burger was also big at $6 but was nicely seasoned (not too spicy - just a bit of a kick). The spin was thick although it lacked enough root beer in my opinion. A few words of caution. You're kind of packed into that little outdoor space - which can be tricky to navigate with a huge tray of food so beware of that. Also, it would be nice if there was indoor seating as well. And finally, the neighborhood is a little dodgy. But overall it was a good experience and I would gladly eat the food again.
