We eat at Jerry's often and always have the chicken fried steak and eggs. Jerry's gravy rocks. Seriously the best gravy... oh, and the hamhocks and beans (mom's favortie). Yummy! smilies/grin.gif

Outstanding Eggs Benedict
It was lunch time, but I wanted breakfast. To me delight, I discovered Jerry's serves breakfast all day. The Eggs Benedict are the best I've had in Boise. The Hollandaise sauce was fresh and obviously made from scratch. On top of that, my serve, Laurie I think, provided exceelent service and was very attentive. rrmh

Always Good Food!
We have eaten at Jerry's several times, the most recent being just a few days ago; & the food has always been very good. This is a regular eating-out place for us now; we're glad Jerry is here in Boise!

We Keep Going Back Over and Over
My husband and I have been to Jerry's several times and are never disappointed. My husband's favorite is the Chorizo/Cheddar omelet which is full of sausage and cheese and I usually get the Carver sandwich, turkey, which is sliced directly from the bird and slightly warm, with sharp cheddar cheese. As good as I could make at home at Thanksgiving and it's available all of the time. We have taken visiting family there and they've thought that it's awesome too! Recommend the Jalopy sandwich and sweet potato fries AND the potato/gouda soup. I eat there whenever I'm in the area as it costs no more (usually less) than any other place around the mall. smilies/grin.gifsmilies/grin.gifsmilies/grin.gif

Good Chicken Caesar
The chicken Caesar salad is an interesting presentation and good. The slice a head of really crisp Romaine in half lengthwise, then put the flame-broiled chicken on top. But the thing that really makes this unique is the crispy Parmesan that's served like crackers. I like to try something different each time I eat at Jerry's; so far, no disappointments.

Large group, good food/service/value
We recently had an occasion for a family gathering of 50. We loved the food at old Jerry's and thought that we would try the new Jerry's State Court Cafe as we heard that Jerry now has a room for large groups. We were not disappointed! We gave them a day's notice and they let us order from the menu. The service was very good and the food was great. The menu is large and everyone was very pleased with their own choice of dinner. Jerry spent a few minutes with us and served everyone a real treat with his special "cheese and potato soup". That soup is wonderful! We liked the private, homey atmosphere and would recommend Jerry's for any group occasion. We have eaten at Jerry's twice since and both of us enjoyed menu selections marked Jerry's specialties. Our only criticism is that they do not make the "cheese and potato soup" every day. Enjoy...........

A new soup in town
:I tried the potato soup yesterday and had to ask about the unique flavor - it was smoked gouda cheese! Jerry's may look like any ordinary restaurant; but he really goes the extra mile to find unique flavors, and some of his food competes with the best restaurants in town where the food is priced considerably higher. Keep surprising me, Jerry, because I'm one of the many people who eat at your restaurant several times per week. smilies/cheesy.gif

Good food, good service
We have eaten at Jerry's three or four times. Each time the food was great, just what the menu said and what we were expecting. I often order Chicken Casear Salad when I eat out and I'd say Jerry's is right up there with the best in the area. The Salmon dinner is also very good. My husband loves the prime rib. The desserts are super, expecially the peach cobbler. I'm also happy to hear that Jerry's is now open 7 days a week for dinner.

We've been to Jerry's a few times & have loved it every time. The food has always been excellent (the chicken fried steak is my favorite), & our server has always had a smile & been friendly & courteous. We like the atmosphere of the restaurant; it feels warm & friendly like a "home-style" restaruant should feel! We love Jerry's cooking!!

could be better
I went to jerry's with my girlfriend one morning before we hit the road to go on vacation. The service was good and the wait wasnt long at all, I ordered jerry's favorite fried egg sandwich ( I maybe mistaken on the name). The egg was not cooked all the way and still really goopy, and I had told the waitress that I wanted my egg cooked well allmost crispy. another downer was that it came with mayonasie on it, which was not stated in the menu. my girlfriend ordered the biscuits and gravy, and even with the gravy on top of the biscuits they were hard and stale tasting. and the gravy tatsed like flour and water and a little little bit of pepper. other then the food it was a really good and home-like experience, and would like to try jerry's again someday..........smilies/cry.gif

I have been to Jerry's for breakfast (German Pancakes, to die for!), for lunch (Reuben Sandwich, Wonderful!) and for a dinner (Prime Rib- Fabulous!). My experiences were great food made with fresh ingredients, nice & friendly servers and the owner's were on site.
Oh yes, I also had a homemade fresh berry cobbler that was divine. I know I will be going back to try the varied menu and other tasty treats Jerry comes up with.

I liked the food and the service.
I've eaten there three times, recently, and loved the food and the portions. My favorite was the Beef Stroganoff & fresh green beans. There was plenty to take home for leftovers. I like that everything's made from scratch. smilies/kiss.gif
I also enjoyed the glass of wine I had, the last time I was there.

Jerry's State Court Cafe/Restaurant. Wonderful Gourmet Food. Reasonable Cost
Health Conscience eat here. Carb counters? including Heart Healthy fish? chicken? and occasional red meat (prime rib, top sirloin, fillet mignon, rib eye) vegetable eaters (broccoli, asparagus, green beans) can find what they want here. Best Eggs Benedict in Boise-Treasure Valley. Fresh cut potatoes, fresh mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries on site.smilies/wink.gif

Welcom Back!!!
I've eaten at the new State Court several times and couldn't be happier to have this Boise tradition back in business. Jerry's passion for cooking from scratch is apparent is the taste of his dishes. Far superior to the old Elmers it replaced.
