This place is an insult to restaurants in the area. I would feel better if I took my money and burned it, rather than have spent it on a cup of cold soup and week old deli meat. When I asked to have my soup heated, the waiter stated that the chef was in a bad mood and wasn’t to be disturbed because he would cause a scene. What the heck type of service is that???

Focaccia's on the decline
The service continues to be poor at this establishment. The food is hit or miss unfortunately as well. I wish I could support this local establishment, but I have no reason to return!

The quality and service of this establishment has hit an all-time low. I think I would rather go to Red Robbin down the street. Better food for lower price. At least Red Robbin doesn't serve spoiled food. My doctor told me that I needed to contact the health department and report Focaccias. I'm not that petty but I will say I'll never return to Bill Greens restaraunt again.

Breakfast (Saturdays/Sundays) = EXCELLENT.
Stuffed Chicken Manicotti = Tastes very good, but small portions.
Chicken Fried Steak Dinner = Excellent
Chicken Pot Pie Dinner = Excellent
Spaghetti/Meatballs Dinner = Good, HUGE portions.
Polenta Lasagna Dinner = EXCELLENT
Fish Tacos Lunch = Very Good
Cable Car Sandwich Lunch = EXCELLENT

Hamburgers/sandwiches = ALL GOOD.

The noodle dishes are OK, but don't appeal to my personal taste as much as the other offerings.

Salads are always FRESH.

Wonderful selection of chocolates, cakes, pies, cookies.

USUALLY not crowded.

Prices reasonable.

Clean and pleasant interior.

This restaurant easily beats most restaurants in the Boise metro area.

Chef Bill Green runs it well.

Pricey lunch!!
I have been to Foaccia's numerous times for lunch. The food has been somewhat inconsistent in quality. Yesterday I went there again. Not only was my sandwich up to $9.95 but I was charged an additional $1.25 for a 1/4 cup of au-jus for my sandwich. Between the sandwich, a soda, a small amount of salad, a tip for the waitress and tax lunch was $16.00. For a sandwich!! For that amount of money I think I will go to Barbacoa or Cotton Wood. At least there is a bit of class along with the high prices.

I went to lunch for the first time at Focaccia's. It was busy and I was glad to see every table filled for the lunch hour. I had the special, pot roast sandwich with side salad. Pot roast was tender and flavorful without being too mushy. Food was fresh and tasty, service was good as well.

I will be back to try both breakfast and dinner.
