Great Food and Fantastic Service I recently took my wife out to dinner at Angell's Bar and Grill and we had a wonderful evening. My Fillet was simply amazing and my wife's Lamb Chops were teriffic. Our Mushroom Bruschetta appetizer was phenomenal. The service at Angell's was exceptional and I can't wait to return. I highly recommend Angell's for any occasion. |

... We had lunch at the new Angell's Bar & Grill today and enjoyed every minute of it. I had the Cantonese Chicken Salad which was absolutely delicious and my friend had the soup, salad and sandwich special. The Split Pea soup was made with fresh sweet peas, a lovely broth and vegetables with a hint of mint. The sandwich was a Reuben and it couldn't have been better.....crusty fresh bread, with corn beef melted swiss cheese and sauerkraut - Dynamite! I had a taste of both and they were divine. We love the new decor, with it's rich fabrics, beautiful art and plush seating areas. The service as always was prompt and courteous and this summer the patio looked more beautiful than ever. We have enjoyed Angell's for several years, but now it is our absolute Boise favorite! |

... I stopped at Angell's Bar & grill for a drink and a light meal a few evenings ago and had a great experience. Their Tapas menu is fun and delicious. Some of my favorites are the Ahi Tartare"Two Ways," Tiger prawns and the Wild Mushroom Bruschetta. The cocktails and wine menu offer a wide variety of adult beverages and the service was prompt and friendly. I'll definitely be back for more ! |

If you like paying too much... I was excited about trying Angel's on my birthday. The appetizers were good, but our entrees came when we were still eating the appetizers. My entree was the filet and it was just disappointing and it had a sauce that I really didn't like. At that point all of the wait staff apparently took an hour long break. I only ate about one third of my entree and when someone finally did come to take my plate they did not offer wrap my meal to go. A frustrating experience for $125.00 for two people. I will not go back. Food = 1, service = 1. |

Going from Amazing to Just OK Awesome patio and interior. Service is hit & miss but has always been at least ok. I stumbled across this place once while looking for bar food, I guess I was thrown off by the neon sign that said "Bar & Grill." I was pleasently amazed by the menu, it goes WAY beyond bar food. It's more like fine dining in a casual environment. I love that they do more than serve plain steaks. They almost always have a twist. This was my favorite place to eat for the first several months I lived in Boise. I still stop in often. My girlfriend works in the same building. While I'm waiting for her to get off I have a beer and look over the menu, which changes all the time. We still eat here occaisionally, but we've noticed that the quality seems to be falling. It's not that we're getting bored of it, it's almost as if there's a different chef or something. |

Excellent I had dinner with my wife on a friday nigtht recently. I really enjoyed our meal and the service was very good. They make a mean martini there! The staff made me feel like a vip (i'm not) I'll be back. |

Sad Went to visit this past weekend. The staff was friendly, but the soup was cold & the meal wasn't very good. The appetizers were great, thought meal would be good too. Felt like they were passing off $32 filet has a Albertson's piece of meat...which means not good. I expect more spices or flavor when I eat a filet. Something that makes me want to keep eating it. Wanting more. Dessert tray looked like something from Costco...nothing like it was made today. Won't recommend this place. |

IF YOU LIKE BLAND OVERPRICED FOOD... Then this is your place. If I was a detective, my first clue should have been the fact that the place was empty on a Friday night, but I chose to ignore it because I have heard some good things about the restaurant, which brought me to the conclusion that my friends don't have taste buds. I ordered the filet mignon and my wife ordered the stuffed top sirloin. I was extremely disappointed. The food was cold, the filet had no flavor, the sirloin was even worse. It was a tough piece of meat. I ended up eating the sirloin because my wife did not like it and I could barely finish it and I can eat almost anything. The only thing going for them is their service. The wait staff was very nice and pleasant. Needless to say, I would never go back there. After eating I could understand why there was only a few couples in the restaurant. |

One of the best in Boise Angell's is gotta be one of Boise's best restaurants. The food is AWESOME, in terms of quality and selection, the staff is very professional. Only drawback is the price. It's a tad on the 'spendy side. Well worth it though. |
